Position Highlights Location: St. Petersburg, FL (Onsite) Full‑time, Monday‑Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm Front‑desk processing of medical record requests – customer service Full benefits: PTO, health, vision, dental, 401(k) savings plan, and tuition assistance Tremendous local and nationwide growth opportunities Responsibilities Receive and process patient health information requests in accordance with company and facility policies and procedures. Maintain confidentiality and security of all privileged information. Maintain working knowledge of company and facility software. Adhere to the company’s and customer facilities’ code of conduct and policies. Inform manager of work, site difficulties, and/or fluctuating volumes. Assist with additional work duties or responsibilities as necessary. Apply medical privacy regulations consistently to guard against unauthorized disclosure. Manage patient health records and safeguard them in compliance with HIPAA standards. Prepare new patient charts, gathering documents from paper sources and/or electronic health record. Ensure medical records are assembled in standard order and are accurate and complete. Create digital images of paperwork to be stored in the electronic medical record. Respond to patient record requests, both within the facility and from external sources. Answer inbound and outbound calls. Assist with patient walk‑ins. Assist with administrative duties such as handling faxes, opening mail, and data entry. Meet productivity expectations as outlined for the site. Schedule pick‑ups as needed. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Strong customer service and clerical skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). Comfortable working in a high‑volume production environment. Medical office experience preferred. Willingness to learn and grow within Datavant. What You Will Bring to the Table High school diploma or GED. Ability to commute between locations as needed. Availability for overtime during peak seasons. Basic computer proficiency. Comfortable using phones, fax machine, printers, and other general office equipment. Professional verbal and written communication skills in English. Detail‑oriented with focus on accurate and compliant medical record information. Strong data entry skills. Ability to work with minimum supervision, responding to changing priorities. Organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to respond to requests in a fast‑paced environment. Bonus Points If Experience in a healthcare environment. Previous production/metric‑based work experience. In‑person customer service experience. Ability to build relationships with on‑site clients and customers. Comfortable with process improvement suggestions and feedback to stakeholders.
