Junior Buyer & Supply Chain Operations Specialist - Contract To Hire
The Junior Buyer & Supply Chain Operations Specialist will be based in the North Chelmsford, MA area and is a vital role in supporting production planning and supply chain functions. Shift of the Junior Buyer & Supply Chain Operations Specialist:M-F 8am-5pm Pay Rate of the Junior Buyer & Supply Chain Operations Specialist:
$25-$28/hr DOE Responsibilities of the Junior Buyer & Supply Chain Operations Specialist:
- MRO Purchasing for maintenance, repair, and operations supplies
- Procurement of tools, consumables, and facility supplies including Amazon orders, gas, refrigerants, and general operational needs
- Vendor communication & basic supplier management with easy-to-manage suppliers
- Order placement, tracking, and expediting to ensure timely delivery
- Inventory and material support for production and operations
- Strong computer skills (Excel, ERP systems, online purchasing platforms)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with MRO purchasing or maintenance/operations supply buying preferred
- Prior experience in purchasing, supply chain, or operations support is a plus
