Construction Superintendent- Campbell Construction- Mukwonago, WI

The Construction Superintendent is responsible for on-site management and execution of fast food restaurant builds and commercial tenant improvement projects. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
️ Field Operations
Oversee all daily construction activities on-site
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and inspections
Read and interpret plans, specs, and shop drawings
Maintain project schedule and sequencing, especially for tight QSR timelines
⏱️ Scheduling & Deadlines
Manage fast-track schedules (typical QSR builds are highly time-sensitive)
Coordinate critical path activities (MEP rough-ins, inspections, equipment install)
Ensure milestone dates such as dry-in, hood install, and final health inspections are met
Quality Control
Enforce quality standards for finishes and installations
Perform daily inspections and maintain punch lists
Ensure compliance with brand standards (important in franchise/QSR builds)
⚠️ Safety Management
Enforce OSHA and company safety policies
Conduct site safety meetings and audits
Maintain a clean and organized jobsite
Coordination
Act as the main point of contact between project managers, subcontractors, and owners
Coordinate with local inspectors, health departments, and fire marshals
Manage equipment deliveries (kitchen equipment, walk-ins, signage, etc.)
Documentation
Maintain daily reports, logs, and site photos
Track RFIs, submittals, and change orders
Assist in project closeout and turnover documentation
QSR-Specific Experience (Highly Valued)
Drive-thru layout and site coordination
Installation of kitchen equipment, hoods, and grease traps
Coordination with health department inspections
Experience with brands like McDonald's, Chick-fil-A, Taco Bell, etc. Company Description
