The Storeroom Attendant is responsible for supporting daily inventory and material management operations at a customer location. Duties include receiving, stocking, issuing, organizing, and tracking products, tools, equipment, and supplies. The successful candidate will maintain accurate inventory records while ensuring the storeroom remains clean, organized, and safe.

Responsibilities:

* Receive, unload, inspect, and store incoming products, tools, equipment, and supplies.

* Check deliveries for damage and discrepancies between goods received and invoices.

* Sort, label, organize, and store items on shelves, racks, and designated storage areas.

* Stock materials and accurately pick orders.

* Issue tools, supplies, and equipment to employees and maintain records of items issued and returned.

* Enter inventory information into computer systems and maintain accurate stock records.

* Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory management and reporting.

* Identify and report damaged, defective, missing, or misplaced equipment.

* Request inventory replenishment when necessary.

* Deliver tools, equipment, and supplies to designated work areas when required.

* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

* Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications:

* At least 3 months of relevant experience and/or training.

* Basic computer skills and the ability to learn inventory management systems.

* Ability to read and understand safety rules, work orders, and operating instructions.

* Basic mathematical skills.

* Strong communication and customer service skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

* Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

* Valid driver’s license required, as driving may be necessary after conversion to a full-time employee.

Preferred Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent; preferred but not required.

* Previous warehouse, inventory, shipping, receiving, or material-handling experience.

* Familiarity with Microsoft Office or inventory management systems such as Vista, Control, SX.e, or Prophet 21.

* Steel-toe shoes are strongly preferred. Toe covers can be provided if needed.

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Employment Type: Contract-to-hire.

Pay Rate: $16.00–$18.00 per hour.
