Senior Product Manager - AI Platform (Hedge Fund)

Location: Midtown, NYC 4x a week Overview We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to help shape the next generation of AI-powered products and internal platforms. In this role, you will drive product strategy and execution for intelligent applications that accelerate decision-making, automate complex workflows, and enable teams to leverage cutting‑edge AI across the organization. This is a highly collaborative role at the intersection of product, engineering, machine learning, and business strategy. You'll partner with AI engineers, data scientists, software developers, and business leaders to identify high‑impact opportunities, define product direction, and deliver scalable AI solutions that create measurable business value. The ideal candidate combines strong product intuition with technical fluency in modern AI technologies and has a proven track record of bringing innovative products from concept to production. Responsibilities Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for AI‑powered platforms and intelligent applications. Identify high‑impact opportunities where AI can automate workflows, improve decision‑making, and unlock new capabilities across the organization. Balance long‑term platform investments with near‑term product delivery and measurable business outcomes. Stay current with advances in generative AI, large language models, agentic systems, and machine learning to evaluate emerging technologies and product opportunities. Product Development & Delivery Lead the full product lifecycle from discovery, prioritization, and roadmap planning through launch, adoption, and continuous iteration. Partner closely with engineering and AI teams to define scalable product architectures and make informed build‑versus‑buy decisions. Translate complex business challenges into clear product requirements, user stories, success metrics, and execution plans. Prioritize initiatives using customer feedback, product analytics, technical feasibility, and business impact. Cross‑Functional Leadership Serve as the primary bridge between product, engineering, data science, design, and business stakeholders. Align cross‑functional teams around product priorities, roadmap decisions, and delivery milestones. Communicate product vision, roadmap progress, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership. Foster collaboration across technical and non‑technical teams while driving alignment in fast‑moving environments. Define and monitor key product metrics including adoption, engagement, workflow efficiency, automation impact, and customer outcomes. Establish an experimentation mindset using data‑driven product development and rapid iteration. Continuously evaluate product performance and identify opportunities for optimization and expansion. Qualifications Required 5+ years of product management experience building enterprise software, AI‑powered applications, or data‑intensive platforms at an AI native firm. Demonstrated success launching products that delivered measurable business impact. Strong technical acumen with the ability to collaborate effectively with software engineers, machine learning engineers, and data scientists. Experience working with modern AI technologies, including large language models (LLMs), retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), AI agents, vector databases, prompt engineering, or model evaluation. Experience translating ambiguous business problems into scalable product solutions. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams and executive leadership. Strong analytical mindset with experience defining KPIs, measuring product success, and driving continuous improvement. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field. Preferred Experience building AI-native products or internal developer platforms. Familiarity with cloud‑native architectures and modern data infrastructure. Experience integrating foundation models and third‑party AI platforms into production environments. Exposure to AI governance, model lifecycle management, and responsible AI practices. Experience building products within fast‑growing organizations where processes and priorities evolve rapidly. MBA or advanced degree in a technical or quantitative discipline.
