Insurance Biller Position

Location: Quincy, IL Pay Range: $16.12 - $24.18 per hour | Based on Relevant Experience Schedule: Full-Time, Monday Friday, 8:00 p.m. 5:00 p.m.

About the Role: We're looking to hire an Insurance Biller to join our team! This role is responsible for accurate claims processing, timely follow-up on outstanding insurance balances, and maintaining compliance with payer guidelinesall essential to ensuring efficient revenue cycle operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage claims follow-up via electronic work lists
• Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding insurance claims per payor contracts
• Review and work aging accounts and unpaid claims
• Maintain knowledge of billing guidelines for third-party, workers' comp, and government payers
• Communicate with departments and external agencies to resolve account issues

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ year of experience in healthcare claims or bookkeeping (preferred)
• Governmental payer billing experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
