Salary Range: $43,000 - $63,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding product specifications, order status, and delivery schedules.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product quality, defects, or shipping errors.
• Collaborate with production, quality control, and logistics teams to address customer concerns and expedite resolutions.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and resolutions in the CRM system.
• Provide customers with technical information and support for manufactured products.
• Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
• Identify and escalate recurring customer issues to management for process improvement opportunities.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
• 2+ years experience in customer service, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical information clearly
• Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to understand and interpret customer needs related to manufacturing products
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes or product lifecycle
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents or blueprints
• Certification in a relevant area (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, APICS CPIM)
