Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of current experience License: Current RN license required Certifications: BLS ACLS NIHSS Must-Have: Must be able to pass EKG testing before the start date. Travel experience is required. Must be competent in at least three surgical services listed. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room. Responsibilities include providing high-quality patient care in a surgical environment. Candidates must have experience in various surgical procedures, including abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and more. The nurse will be required to be on call four nights every six weeks and work two 12-hour weekend shifts every six weeks. All candidates must meet the certification requirements and have the necessary skills for the position. Travelers requesting time off during any holiday or holiday week will not be accommodated. It is important to have robust communication and collaboration skills to work within an interdisciplinary team. Candidates should ensure that all certifications and licenses are current and valid. This role involves adhering to policies regarding holidays and time off requests. All applicants must have proof of residency documents available upon acceptance of the position.
