Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years of clinical nursing experience License: Active Ohio RN license Certifications: BCLS and IV certification, EPIC experience preferred Must-Have: Strong communication skills Critical thinking abilities Multitasking capabilities Description: The Registered Nurse will work in a Progressive Care Unit. The position involves managing and starting IVs. Medications need to be administered safely. Monitoring vital signs and patient responses is required. Educating patients on treatments and self-care is essential. Collaboration with the care team on patient plans is necessary. Charting will be done using the EPIC EMR system. The nurse may be required to float to lower acuity units if needed. All hospital policies must be followed, ensuring patient safety. Experience with travel nursing is a plus. Candidates must have strong skills in communication, critical thinking, and multitasking.
