Paralegal I
Palm Beach County, FL
Highly responsible paraprofessional and technical work in the County Attorney's Office assisting one or more attorneys in preparing legal instruments such as pleadings, legal briefs and preparing for civil trials and administrative hearings. Researches activities and specialized assignments in civil law practice; requires diligent work ethic and interpersonal skills; must be a team player.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Graduation from an American Bar Association approved legal assistant program; minimum of two (2) years of legal assistant experience OR certified legal assistant designation with two (2) years of related experience.
PREFERENCE FOR : Experience with Civil Litigation; working knowledge of Florida Rules of Civil Procedures, Federal and State Court Local rules (must specify on application) ; proficiency in MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
