Role Description

This full-time role for Manager of Shop Operations is based in New Berlin, WI,. The Manager of Shop Operations will oversee daily operations, manage techs, optimize workflows, and ensure efficiency in the shop’s processes. Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance and repairs, managing inventory, liaising with vendors, and supporting sales teams with equipment readiness. The role combines operational management expertise with hands-on knowledge of machining and sales support to drive overall business success.

Qualifications

• Experience in Operations Management and strong Analytical Skills to optimize processes and workflows.
• A minimum of (7) seven years of mechanical experience working on cranes and/or forklifts is required.
• A minimum of (3) three years of shop management experience is required.
• Proficiency in Team Management to lead shop staff effectively, foster collaboration, and ensure safety.
• Knowledge proper maintenance, repair, and functionality of heavy machinery.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to dynamic operational demands.
• Proficiency with inventory management and equipment maintenance best practices.
