Key Qualifications & Experience: Current, active licensure as a Social Worker in Colorado is required Previous experience in school social work roles strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to work across elementary, middle, and high school settings Strong communication, advocacy, and crisis intervention skills Adaptability to work in an itinerant capacity across multiple sites Commitment to cultural competency and inclusive practices Core Responsibilities: Provide direct social-emotional support and counseling to K-12 students Collaborate with teachers, administration, and other school staff to identify and address student needs Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans for students facing social or behavioral challenges Serve as a resource for families, connecting them with community supports and services Maintain accurate records and participate in team meetings as needed Support the transition for staff on FMLA leave to ensure continuity of care for students This position offers the chance to contribute meaningfully to student wellbeing while gaining broad experience across age groups and school settings.
