Job Description

Join our team as a Warehouse Associate, where you will play a vital role in our operations by ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment and shipment preparation.

Responsibilities

• Pick items from sales orders and ensure accuracy before packaging.

• Select appropriate shipping containers and packaging materials for shipments.

• Package orders for shipment and separate and distribute them to various departments as needed.

• Operate UPS Maxiship and Federal Express Powership computer systems.

• Calculate shipping costs by picking, packing, and weighing orders that require delivery charges.

• Prepare international shipping documents.

• Work hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with potential overtime as needed.

• Present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings to other employees.

• Make additions and withdrawals to physical inventory.

• Operate hand carts, pallet jacks, and forklifts.

• Willingness to cross-train in various roles.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Hand dexterity.

• Experience in a cleanroom warehouse environment.

• Proficiency with RF scanners.

• Ability to lift 45 lbs.

• Knowledge of packaging and labeling techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• One year minimum related experience preferred.

• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend the English language.

• Ability to perform basic mathematical skills.

• Ability to perform job duties using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

• Ability to lift 10 lbs. repetitively and occasionally up to 85 lbs.

Work Environment

Work in a manufacturing environment with the world's leading precision fluid dispensing systems manufacturer. The position requires standing during working hours and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Safety glasses, gloves, hair nets, and lab coats must be worn at all times.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Providence, RI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
