Archaeologist

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Archaeologist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of archaeological fieldwork, including surveys, excavations, and site assessments. You will analyze artifacts, ecofacts, and other material culture to contribute to our understanding of historical contexts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in archaeological methodologies, as well as experience working with various data analysis tools and techniques. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to research projects, ensuring that all findings are documented and reported in a timely manner.
Additionally, the successful candidate will engage in public outreach and education initiatives, sharing findings with community members and stakeholders. You will also be responsible for preparing grant proposals to secure funding for future projects and for ensuring compliance with heritage legislation and ethical standards. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, are essential for presenting research findings and collaborating effectively with colleagues. A Master's degree in Archaeology or a related field, along with relevant field experience, is required. Candidates with a Ph.D. and experience in specialized areas such as bioarchaeology or geoarchaeology will be given preference.
