Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in North Carolina. This role involves providing competent clinical nursing care in a hospital setting, focusing on delivery and postpartum patients. The Nurse will utilize the nursing process to coordinate patient care, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and support patient education and safety during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); 1 year of nursing experience. Experience in Labor and Delivery (L&D) is highly preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Master's degree in Nursing (MSN).
• Additional Information: Candidates should be able to circulate for cesarean sections and triage in obstetrics. Local candidates are preferred. The position involves Click or "Point of Care" testing and care of patients with complex problems, requiring a comprehensive understanding of obstetric and neonatal care standards. Candidates will participate in performance improvement activities and unit goal development.
