Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in bariatrics, orthopedics, and general surgery to join our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care and support to patients undergoing surgical procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts from 06:45 to 17:15
• Call requirements: 4-5 call days per month, including potential weekends and holidays
• Weekday call: 17:00 to 07:00
• Weekend and holiday call: 24-hour coverage

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Operating Room setting
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Utilize medication management systems, specifically Pyxis
• Adhere to safety and health regulations while performing clinical tasks
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using EPIC

Qualifications

• Must possess at least 1 year of EPIC experience
• Current BLS certification
• Active RN license in South Carolina
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in nursing, preferably in an Operating Room setting
