The Legal team turns complexity into clarity by partnering with teams across Revolut to provide sharp, practical advice that helps the business move fast while staying protected. From structuring innovative new products to navigating new markets, the Legal team ensures growth is secure, compliant, and built for the long term.

We're looking for a Legal Counsel to partner with local leadership and regulators. You'll be at the intersection of legal and business strategy, applying a hands-on approach to advise on compliance and legal issues around our financial features.

Advising on compliance and legal considerations when structuring financial features, ensuring alignment with local laws and regulations

Interpreting applicable laws and regulatory requirements and translating them into practical guidance for product and business teams

Supporting interactions with local regulators, including responding to queries during the licensing process

Assisting with governance matters, including board meetings and director-related requirements

Supporting local legal and regulatory matters, as well as cross-border activities

Collaborating closely with global Legal, Compliance, Operations, and other internal stakeholders to ensure regulatory alignment

Assisting in the legal and regulatory assessment of the communications strategy

Contributing to a wide range of legal and operational topics as the business scales

5+ years of experience as a lawyer in the regulatory field, ideally within a bank, fintech, or regulated financial institution

Exposure to regulators, ideally in a licensing context

The ability to interpret laws and regulations and apply them to product and business decisions

A problem-solving, ownership attitude

Tech-savviness and comfort working in a fully digital environment

Solid stakeholder management and communication skills

The ability to make decisions effectively in ambiguous and evolving environments

Fluency in English (C1+ level)

A master's degree

Experience in a banking or fintech environment

Familiarity with regulatory processes in Peru
