Registered Nurse - Operating Room

$2080.80/week - Job Summary: Provide specialized perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room. Ensure patient safety, support surgical teams, and promote optimal outcomes through expert clinical practices. Responsibilities: Assist surgeons and surgical teams by preparing the operating room and arranging sterile instruments and supplies. Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes during surgery to maintain stability. Administer medications and anesthesia as prescribed by the anesthesia provider. Maintain sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols throughout procedures. Document patient care activities, surgical details, and post-operative instructions accurately. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure smooth workflow and patient safety. Qualifications: Valid RN license with current state credentials. Minimum of 2 years of perioperative nursing experience in the operating room. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); additional certifications such as CNOR preferred. Ability to function in high-pressure, fast-paced surgical settings. Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and infection control standards.
