We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to support daily operations at our client. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping materials organized, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring accurate records across inventory, billing, and dispatch activities. The person in this role will help maintain smooth workflow by tracking stock movement, monitoring time-related records, and supporting efficient communication between internal teams and external partners.

This role is a 3rd shift schedule!

Responsibilities:

• Manage inventory records by updating stock levels, documenting material movement, and helping maintain accurate item counts.

• Coordinate dispatch activities to support timely distribution of materials, products, or supplies.

• Prepare and review billing-related information to help ensure charges and supporting records are accurate.

• Track employee time card details and maintain organized documentation for reporting and payroll support.

• Work closely with vendors to confirm orders, resolve discrepancies, and maintain effective business relationships.

• Assist with scheduled physical inventory counts and support annual inventory verification efforts.

• Communicate with internal departments to align inventory availability with operational needs.

• Investigate inventory variances and help correct record inconsistencies in a timely manner.

• Experience with inventory tracking and maintaining accurate stock records.
• Familiarity with physical inventory processes, including annual inventory counts.
• Ability to support billing tasks with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience tracking time cards or maintaining workforce-related records.
• Strong communication skills for working with vendors and internal teams.
• Ability to stay organized while managing multiple coordination tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic proficiency with office and inventory-related computer systems and data entry.
