Audit Manager | Cleveland, OH | Mid-sized CPA Firm

I speak to quite a few Audit Managers who tell me they're happy where they are.

And most of them probably are.

They like the people, know the clients, get on with the partners, and have a pretty good idea of what each week is going to look like.

Which is great.

But at some point you have to ask yourself whether being comfortable makes it a bit too easy to stay somewhere longer than you originally intended.

Especially when you've reached the point where you're not really learning much anymore.

Anyway, the reason I mention this is that I'm working with a midsized CPA firm in Cleveland that's doing some interesting things.

They've recently taken on investment and are planning to grow, both through acquisitions and organically.

I know pretty much every accounting firm seems to have ambitious growth plans.

And you're probably right.

But this firm is heavily investing in technology, people, infrastructure, and improving the way work gets done.

Which, if you've spent any time managing audits, you'll know can make quite a difference to your working day.

They're also making changes to their assurance practice, with more emphasis on advisory work and modernising the services they offer clients.

And they're looking for an Audit Manager to join them as they go through that.

You don't need to be actively looking, and I'm certainly not expecting you to make a career decision based on a job advert.
