Job Summary:
Psychiatric Unit Registered Nurse (RN) in Ashland, Wisconsin. This role involves providing mental health and detox services within a behavioral health unit specializing in adult patients with diagnoses such as alcohol use disorder, depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. Job Details:

• Shift Hours: 12-hour shifts, with rotations of 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification; one year of experience required
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); at least one year of experience; Wisconsin state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights, every other weekend and holiday
• Additional Information: Nurse-patient ratios up to 1:5 (mostly 1:3); nurse aides or mental health specialists available; rare use of IVs; dress code options include street clothes or scrubs, with attire being neat, appropriate, and role-modeling professional standards; photo identification badges required; 2-3 days of orientation with a preceptor; no telehealth services available; no float requirements; no call or standby shifts.
