PRN CT Technologist - Days

Role Overview: The PRN CT Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced modalities such as CT, primarily on adult and pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, conducting studies independently, and managing portable exams as needed. Responsibilities Prepare patients and equipment for procedures. Perform imaging studies independently, including portable and on-call exams. Ensure quality control and safety during procedures. Qualifications & Skills Associate degree or higher in a related field. Certified as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and CT (ARRT preferred). Preferred experience: 1+ year in CT, Siemens equipment familiarity. Licenses including IEMA (Illinois) and others as applicable. CPR and IV therapy certifications are advantageous. Key Duties: Conduct diagnostic imaging, ensure patient safety, and maintain equipment standards.
