Staff Physician (Cardiology)

The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus is seeking a General Cardiologist to join its well-established and growing Heart & Vascular Center in Topeka, Kansas. This employed position offers an excellent opportunity for both experienced cardiologists and new graduates, providing mentorship from seasoned cardiovascular specialists. The role is clinically focused, with no research or teaching requirements, and is supported by the resources of a leading academic health system. Practice Info Comprehensive cardiovascular team consisting of 8 Cardiologists, 9 Advanced Practice Providers, 2 Cardiothoracic Surgeons, 3 Cardiothoracic APPs, and dedicated nursing and support staff. Inpatient and outpatient practice mix. Clinical-focused position with no research or teaching requirements. Access to comprehensive cardiovascular services including Nuclear Stress Testing, Echocardiography, Stress Echocardiography, Vascular Sonography, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Device Clinic, Coumadin Clinic, and Vein Clinic. Structural Heart Program featuring TAVR, Watchman, ASD/PFO Closure, and planned Mitral and TriClip expansion in 2026. Epic EMR with Ambience AI scribe technology to improve efficiency and reduce administrative burden.
