Overview Registered Nurse – PCU, traveling assignment in Utica, New York. Start date 10/12/2026 for 16 weeks with guaranteed 48 hours per week. Night shift on a 12-hour, 4-night block in an IMCU/PCU unit within a hospital setting. Weekly pay between $3,056 and $3,198. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $3,056 – $3,198 per week Guaranteed hours: 48 hours per week Contract duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night shift, 12-hour blocks, 4 nights per week Start date: 10/12/2026 Unit/setting: IMCU/PCU in a hospital environment Local rate consideration: Local rates apply for candidates within 75 miles Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to adult patients (18+) in the IMCU/PCU with neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory concerns Monitor patient status, administer medications and therapies, and respond to changes in condition Collaborate with interdisciplinary team; assist with discharge planning and family communication Utilize EPIC electronic medical record for timely and accurate documentation Manage advanced equipment and procedures as needed (e.g., temporary pacer, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, Neptune Vapo) and work with the RT team for chronic vent support Float to adjacent units as assigned and maintain patient safety and quality care standards Requirements Active RN license in New York (NURSYS verification required); RTO requests must be included at submission Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications 2+ years of experience in IMCU/PCU (travel experience preferred) EMR experience required: EPIC Ability to work night shift and 12-hour blocks; comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment Current resume documenting IMCU/PCU experience and travel assignments Benefits and Support Travel assignment with guaranteed hours and a defined duration EPIC EMR usage and related training available Local rate consideration for eligible local candidates (within 75 miles) Dedicated support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC throughout the assignment Weekly pay with processing via standard payroll Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
