Responsibilities

• Conduct OT evaluations and periodic re-evaluations for students, identifying functional goals aligned with academic and activity-of-daily-living needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans to address fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, handwriting, and classroom participation
• Provide direct OT services in the school environment and help students access and participate in school activities
• Collaborate with teachers, school clinicians, families, and other members of the multidisciplinary team; participate in IEP meetings and goal planning
• Document progress notes, treatment plans, goals, and outcomes in required systems; adjust interventions based on student progress
• Ensure safety, equipment use, and adherence to school district policies during therapy sessions
• Communicate student progress and any barriers to caregivers and supervisors; advocate for appropriate supports and accommodations

Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Washington state or eligibility for licensure
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Minimum 1 year of OT experience; school-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Ability to deliver services in a school setting and to adapt activities for diverse student needs
• Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
• Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and adhere to the school schedule
