Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced project manager familiar with running agile and waterfall projects. This job is a fit for you if you have significant experience in planning, executing and delivering projects with deep knowledge of software development and system integration initiatives. Your success will require the ability to understand the technical requirements and be able to communicate with technical resource managers and application development managers. As a project manager, you are expected to be the primary point of contact in delivering business value for our organization.

The day-to-day responsibilities of the role include:

• Develop project plan and phase documentation, including resource and cost management, test plans, and appropriate monitoring and control activities
• Coordinate the collection and management of business requirements
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and establish communication cadence with project team
• Collaborate with development managers to plan work scope, resource allocation and schedules
• Adhere to governance controls such RACI cards, traceability matrices and toll gate reviews

Qualifications

• PMP or PMI-ACP credential
• At least 7 years' experience as a project manager in the financial services industry, preferably banking
• Proficiency with "tools of the trade" – Confluence, Jira, ServiceNow and Microsoft Office • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience managing project budgets and reporting of project financials • Strong communications and stakeholder management skills, including establishment of communication cadence to the project team
• Experience working and managing third party vendors including requirements specification as well as delivery management
• Ability to work under limited supervision and to quickly grasp complex problems and provide solution
