If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy leading projects from award through closeout, and have a strong background in structural steel, we want to hear from you.Position Summary The Steel Project Manager is responsible for managing projects from contract award through final completion. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to coordinate fabrication, field operations, subcontractors, vendors, and customers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Manage multiple structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects simultaneously.Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.Coordinate with owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, fabricators, detailers, vendors, and field superintendents.Review contracts, shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.Manage procurement of materials and subcontractors.Track project costs, billings, and profitability.Conduct project kickoff meetings and regular progress meetings.Support field crews by resolving project issues and ensuring efficient execution.Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and contractual requirements.Build and maintain strong customer relationships that lead to repeat business.QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of Project Management experience in structural steel, miscellaneous metals, or commercial construction.Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection processes.Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and financial reporting.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Experience with Bluebeam, Procore, Tekla EPM/FabTrol, or similar construction management software is preferred.Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Preferred ExperienceStructural SteelMiscellaneous MetalsOrnamental MetalsStairs and RailingsCommercial ConstructionIndustrial ConstructionBenefitsCompetitive salary based on experiencePerformance-based bonus opportunitiesCompany vehicle or vehicle allowanceHealth insurancePaid vacation and holidays401(k) with company matchCareer advancement opportunitiesTraining and professional developmentStable, long-term employment with a growing companySEAA is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of steel industry professionals.
