About the Role:
Join our vibrant team at Little Learners Child Care Center as a Toddler Teacher! In this rewarding role, you will nurture and inspire young minds in a safe, engaging environment, helping them develop essential skills.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for toddlers.
- Observe and assess children’s progress and provide feedback to parents.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to create a cohesive learning experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom that fosters learning.
- Encourage positive behavior and conflict resolution among toddlers.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements:
- DEEC certification
- Experience working with toddlers in a childcare setting is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children and parents.
- Passion for early childhood education and child development.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
- Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude.
- Background check clearance as per state regulations.
