Job Description

Job Summary:

The job is for a Cardiovascular Lab Tech responsible for supporting invasive cardiovascular procedures in a fast-paced Cath Lab/EP environment. The role focuses on preparing equipment, assisting with hemodynamic monitoring, and ensuring safe, high-quality patient care while maintaining required certifications.

Responsibilities:

• Perform patient and procedure support duties in the cardiovascular lab setting.
• Assist with invasive cardiology activities and hemodynamic monitoring as directed.
• Prepare, set up, and maintain cardiovascular lab equipment and supplies.
• Support sterile technique and follow infection control best practices during procedures.
• Document required information accurately using proficient computer systems.
• Maintain compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards throughout each case.

Qualifications:

• Hold an ARRT-R credential and maintain a valid state license as required.
• Obtain and maintain RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) as required.
• Demonstrate prior experience in a Cardiovascular Lab; preferred.
• Complete a cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring; preferred.
• Maintain current BCLS (AHA) certification and obtain ACLS within 30 days of hire.
• Prove proficient computer skills for documentation and system use.
