MRI Technologist

Role MRI Technologist responsible for performing high-quality MRI examinations to aid in diagnosing medical conditions. Key Responsibilities Prepare patients, operate MRI equipment, and ensure safety and comfort during scans. Explain procedures, position patients, and monitor their condition before and after exams. Maintain equipment functionality, perform quality checks, and troubleshoot issues. Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with safety guidelines. Complete clinical documentation, image processing, and post-processing tasks. Assist with patient care, scheduling, and education related to MRI procedures. Verify physician orders and select optimal equipment settings for each exam. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree in Healthcare or Imaging preferred. Registration with ARRT (R) and ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) certification required or within 9 months. State of Texas MRT certification within 9 months. BLS certification required.
