Licensed Mental Health Therapist

Rula Health is seeking a compassionate and licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team within a mission-driven, tech-forward environment. In this role, you will provide individual, couple, and family psychotherapy to a diverse population of clients across the lifespan, primarily in an outpatient setting using a combination of in-person and secure telehealth services. You will conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, formulate DSM-5 diagnoses, and collaborate with clients to create person-centered treatment plans that reflect their goals, strengths, and cultural context. Drawing on evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed approaches, you will deliver structured, goal-oriented interventions that support symptom reduction, skill building, and overall well-being.

You will be responsible for completing thorough risk assessments, safety plans, and appropriate crisis interventions when clients present with elevated risk or acute distress, ensuring that care is safe, ethical, and responsive. Accurate, timely documentation in an Electronic Health Record system will be an essential part of your work, from initial assessments and progress notes to treatment plan reviews and discharge summaries, all in compliance with HIPAA, payer guidelines, and professional standards. You will collaborate closely with psychiatrists, primary care providers, care coordinators, and other behavioral health professionals, contributing to an integrated, whole-person model of care.

Rula Health’s technology-enabled platform will support your practice with secure telehealth capabilities, digital intake and screening tools, and data-informed insights into outcomes and client engagement. You will use these tools to monitor progress through standardized measures, refine treatment approaches based on clinical response, and participate in quality improvement initiatives that enhance service effectiveness.
