Radiology - Ultrasound / Sonographer

Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (30 min lunch) Friday: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM Job Description The Echo/Vascular Sonographer performs diagnostic ultrasound and related testing on patients with suspected disorders of the cardiovascular system. These tests primarily include, but are not limited to, echocardiography, EKG, carotid duplex scanning, and noninvasive peripheral (arterial and venous) vascular studies. Responsibilities Conduct echocardiography and vascular imaging studies. Analyze and interpret ultrasound results, communicating findings to the medical staff. Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all tests performed. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Must be registered or registry eligible by the ARDMS as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or by CCI as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) and Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS). Registry must be completed within one year of employment. Must possess BLS certification through the American Heart Association. Experience as an Echo tech is preferred.
