Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Night Shift)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to acutely ill adult patients in a Medical Surgical setting
• Support patients undergoing both emergent and elective surgical procedures
• Deliver care in accordance with the highest professional nursing standards alongside nurse assistants
• Maintain accurate patient assessments and documentation throughout each shift
• Pursue and maintain specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing as encouraged by the unit

Required Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license required at time of submission
• Healthcare Provider Level AHA BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Medical Surgical inpatient environment
• Specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
