Midlevel Restructuring and Insolvency Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a midlevel Restructuring and Insolvency Associate to join their Portland, OR office. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of experience in bankruptcy judicial law clerk roles or as a practicing commercial bankruptcy lawyer, representing debtors and/or creditors in Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings, state law insolvency proceedings, and out-of-court restructurings. Duties Represent clients in Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings. Engage in state law insolvency proceedings and out-of-court restructurings. Collaborate with experienced lawyers across the US platform. Participate in avoidable transfer litigation and asset sales. Requirements Three to five years of relevant experience. California bar admission preferred but not required. Strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree required. Certifications Bar admission in at least one US jurisdiction. Skills Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
