About the shop...

We're a custom cabinet manufacturer that's been building for high-end residential clients on the West Coast of Florida for over 35 years. The work is fast-paced, the projects are large and detailed, and the team takes real pride in what leaves the shop. We're looking for someone who can really own their seat!

Position Role...

You'll be the person who takes a project from architectural drawings and field measurements all the way to clean G-code on the CNC. Day to day, that means:

•        Designing large residential custom projects in Cabinet Vision – including 3D models, submittal drawings, renderings, and floor plans for client approval

•        Field measuring from framed construction to adjust accuracy of cabinet drawings.

•        Producing accurate cut lists, material take-offs, and hardware schedules

•        Running Screen-to-Machine (S2M) to generate error-free code for our N300 CNC router

•        Maintaining catalogs, material databases, and construction methods so the whole shop works from the same Construction rules, & Material Data.

•        Supporting estimating and purchasing when appropriate – to keep projects moving

•        Troubleshooting alongside the shop floor and CNC operators when something on screen doesn't match practical application

Requirements...

•        Comprehensive 2025 Cabinet Vision experience across all modules - design, CAD, and estimating. This role requires a Cabinet Vision background; parallel software experience will not substitute. Version 2025 or newer preferred.

•        Proficiency in Screen-to-Machine (S2M) - able to take a design from screen to clean, accurate CNC machine code without hand-holding.

•        Thorough working knowledge of custom cabinet manufacturing - materials, equipment, joinery, hardware (Blum, Grass, etc.), and how frameless, face-frame, overlay, and inset construction, actually go together

•        The ability to read architectural drawings, blueprints, and field notes and to Scale & Render cabinets from them accurately

•        Sharp math, geometry, and spatial reasoning - small mistakes here get expensive downstream

Helpful Extras...

•        User Created Standards (UCS) authoring or modification in Cabinet Vision

•        Hands-on CNC experience (Biesse, Stiles/Homag, SCM)

•       Good 3D Modeling Skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or AlphaCAM

•        Sales, estimating, or engineering background
