Job Title: RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10:00 - 22:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience License: Registered Nurse Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS Must-Have Skills/Experience: - Minimum 2 years Emergency Department experience - Team player with a positive attitude Description: The facility is a 294-bed hospital accredited by a recognized healthcare quality organization. The department is equipped to provide various medical services, including cancer care, cardiac care, and surgical services. The emergency department has 26 beds with flexible patient ratios depending on acuity, generally 1:4-5. Common diagnoses and treatments in the department include respiratory distress, overdose, congestive heart failure, dialysis, and hypertension. The department uses standard emergency department equipment and GE monitors. Candidates should have experience using electronic health record systems. An engaging and positive personality fit is preferred for this role.
