BI Engineer

Accountabilities 1. Translate Business Needs into BI Solutions Turn stakeholder questions and requirements into clear, actionable data products (dashboards, models, metrics) that support decision making and improve service experience and contractual performance with guidance from Lead BI engineers or BI managers. 2. Design and Build High Quality BI Products Develop analytical products aligned to established standards such as dashboards and reports to enable stakeholders to make informed decisions easily at pace and with confidence.
3. Model Data Correctly and Consistently Create and maintain scalable data models that reflect business processes, enable correct analysis, and support reuse. 4. Communicate Insight Clearly Present data through effective visualisation and storytelling so insights are easy to understand, clear and appropriate for the audience. 5. Ensure Data Quality and Trust Validate logic, test outputs, and challenge anomalies to ensure BI products are accurate, consistent, and dependable. 6 . Deliver Work Predictably Own backlog items through the delivery lifecycle, manage time and dependencies, and meet agreed commitments within delivery frameworks. 7 . Continuously Improve BI Products Participates in workshops with stakeholders, monitors usage, and seeks feedback to contribute to iterative improvements of BI products Key Internal Stakeholders & Relationships
