About the Job LG CNS America is seeking a motivated and technically driven Software Engineer / Technical Project Coordinator to support enterprise service management platforms and customer-facing service integrations. This position is ideal for a technology professional with 0-3 years of experience seeking to further develop expertise across software engineering, system integration, cloud-native platforms, DevOps, and technical project coordination. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, infrastructure teams, and external partners to design, support, and enhance mission-critical applications and service interfaces. You will gain hands‑on experience with modern API development, enterprise integrations, database technologies, CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native architectures, and production operations while serving as a key contributor to large-scale enterprise initiatives. The ideal candidate is technically curious, detail-oriented, capable of working independently, and interested in growing into a technical leadership or solution architecture role. Main Responsibilities 1. Service Interface System Maintenance Maintain and support enterprise service platforms and customer-facing applications. Monitor and troubleshoot service integrations between internal systems and external business partners. Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Coordinate application releases, deployments, and post-deployment validation activities. Support business‑critical interfaces and ensure system reliability, availability, and performance. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical and operational issues. 2. Software Development & API Integration Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Java-based technologies. Analyze technical specifications and business requirements to implement integration solutions. Create and maintain API documentation using OpenAPI/Swagger standards. Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms. Participate in system modernization projects involving microservices and cloud-native architectures. Support integrations between enterprise platforms and third‑party business partners. 3. Database & Data Management Develop and optimize SQL queries, database objects, and data validation processes. Support Oracle database maintenance and troubleshooting activities. Assist with data analysis, integrity verification, and issue resolution. Maintain reference/master data and support data migration initiatives. Monitor and troubleshoot database‑related production issues. 4. DevOps & Infrastructure Support Participate in CI/CD pipeline maintenance and deployment automation activities. Support Docker‑based application deployments and containerized services. Assist with Linux server operations, application monitoring, and log analysis. Support web server, reverse proxy, SSL certificate, and networking configurations. Monitor application performance and proactively identify operational risks. Assist with infrastructure troubleshooting and environment support activities. 5. Project Coordination & Technical Leadership Collaborate with business users, developers, QA teams, infrastructure teams, and external vendors. Participate in requirements gathering, solution reviews, and project planning sessions. Track project deliverables, risks, dependencies, and action items. Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and system diagrams. Support testing efforts including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing. Serve as a technical liaison between stakeholders and development teams to facilitate successful project delivery. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field. 0-3 years of professional experience in software development, systems integration, IT operations, or a related technical field. Experience supporting enterprise applications in development, QA, or production environments. Knowledge of Java programming and object-oriented design principles. Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and web service concepts. Experience writing SQL queries and working with relational databases. Familiarity with Git version control. Working knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line tools. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience working with cross‑functional teams and business stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Self‑motivated with a strong willingness to learn new technologies and business processes. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Java 8, Java 17, or Java 21 applications. Experience developing RESTful APIs using Spring Boot, Quarkus, or similar frameworks. Experience working with Oracle or other relational databases. Familiarity with Docker, containerized application environments, and deployment automation. Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Gitea. Understanding of API security concepts including OAuth2, JWT, or SSO. Knowledge of web servers and reverse proxy technologies such as Nginx, Apache, or Tomcat. Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Experience with monitoring and logging platforms such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, or Loki. Experience coordinating technical initiatives, leading small projects, or mentoring junior team members. About the Benefits (Full-Time Employees) Compensation Pay: The pay range for this position is $59,000 to $71,000 A wide range of factors are utilized in compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, skill sets, job‑related knowledge, geographic market, and other key qualifications based on business needs.
