Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for an inpatient rehab assignment at a Level 1 Trauma facility, with Epic EMR experience required.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation unit setting
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM schedule
• 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
• No weekend or holiday shifts required
• No floating requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required
• Illinois Physical Therapist (PT) license required; license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• New graduates will be considered

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients of all ages, developing and adjusting individualized plans of care, and documenting in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards
• Collaborates with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary medical team throughout the rehabilitation process, including discharge planning and equipment recommendations
• Provides supervision to PTAs and rehabilitation technicians in accordance with regulatory guidelines
• Utilizes standardized outcomes measures to accurately reflect functional performance
• Candidate interviews are conducted by facility leadership
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract
• Contingent workers may not be on continuous assignment for more than 1 year at this health system; a 6-month break in service is required before returning after reaching the 1-year mark
