Location: 482 W 14 Mile Rd, Loc D, Troy, MI 48083, United States Job Title: Assistant Store Manager Job Summary Lids Sports Group, the largest licensed sports retailer in North America, seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support a high-energy, fun and inclusive retail environment that drives customer service and sales excellence. Key Responsibilities Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues, customer complaints, and store operations when the Store Manager is absent. Lead, train, and develop store associates through Lids Training Programs, goal setting, and regular follow‑up. Maintain and enforce store policies, dress code, visual merchandising, and cleanliness standards. Execute store sales strategy, achieve KPIs, and support membership enrollment and special in‑store offers. Manage cash, till opening/closing, counterfeit protection, and bank drops. Oversee inventory processes: receiving, transferring, pricing, counts, and backroom organization. Implement operational directives, promotions, and technical maintenance, including MPOS and custom product systems. Support store audits and inventory accuracy. Handle safety, equipment maintenance, and facility requests. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Proven sales and retail experience, preferably in apparel or sports retail. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment. Experience in cash handling, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
