About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Oregon RN license preferred but pending is acceptable Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: Epic Charting experience Description: The operating room registered nurse will work on the day shift. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred. A minimum of 2 years of experience is required. First-time travelers are allowed. The schedule consists of weekday shifts, with variable days and start times. Days may include 10 and 12-hour shifts. Night call shifts are 8 hours, from 2300 to 0700. Weekend scheduled shifts may also be required with durations of 10 or 12 hours. There may be up to 6 shifts of call and/or weekend scheduled shifts every 6-week schedule. Previous charge experience is preferred. Experience with trauma level II is preferred. Candidates should have familiarity with various surgical procedures and equipment. The patient age groups treated will include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census is approximately 60 patients. Support services such as IV teams and rapid response teams are available.
