Travel RN Hospice

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, patient-centered hospice care throughout the Greater Lake Charles area. The RN will case manage a group of hospice patients, coordinate care, and ensure patients and families receive high-quality support throughout their hospice journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Case manage an assigned group of hospice patients.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care.
• Assess patient needs and coordinate appropriate hospice services.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Follow hospice policies, procedures, and applicable standards of care.
• Travel between patient visits throughout the Greater Lake Charles area.
• Mileage between patient visits is reimbursed.

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Previous hospice nursing experience required.
• Strong clinical assessment and case-management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
• Patient-centered approach with excellent communication skills.
• Positive, flexible, and willing attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Homecare Homebase (HCHB).
• Previous travel or community-based nursing experience.

Additional Details

• 40-hour weekly guarantee
• MondayFriday schedule
• No weekend or on-call requirement
• Mileage reimbursement between patient visits
• Navy blue scrubs preferred
• Coverage area: Greater Lake Charles

This is a great opportunity for an experienced hospice RN seeking a MondayFriday schedule with guaranteed hours and no weekend or on-call requirements. Pay Details: $55.92 per hour
