Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney to join a growing legal team in Seattle, Washington. The ideal candidate will have strong experience handling a broad range of immigration matters, providing strategic legal guidance to individuals, families, and businesses, and managing cases from inception through resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle employment-based and family-based immigration matters, including nonimmigrant visas, immigrant petitions, adjustment of status applications, and consular processing
Represent clients before USCIS, EOIR, ICE, the Department of Labor, and other immigration-related agencies
Prepare and file petitions and applications, including H-1B, L-1, TN, PERM, EB, O-1, asylum, naturalization, and family-sponsored immigration matters
Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, responses to RFEs, and other immigration-related legal documents
Advise clients on immigration compliance, eligibility, timelines, and case strategy
Attend immigration interviews, hearings, and court proceedings as needed
Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with deadlines and immigration regulations
Communicate effectively with clients, government agencies, and internal stakeholders
Stay informed on changes in immigration laws, policies, and procedures

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active Washington Bar license in good standing or ability to practice immigration law in the jurisdiction
2+ years of immigration law experience preferred
Strong knowledge of U.S. immigration laws and procedures
Experience handling employment-based and/or family-based immigration matters
Excellent legal writing, analytical, and communication skills
Strong organizational and case management abilities
Ability to independently manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
