Great Bliss Behavioral Health Center is seeking a dedicated, licensed mental health therapist to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This role is essential in providing effective therapeutic services to a diverse client base, allowing individuals, couples, and families to address their mental health challenges and promote overall wellness. This position allows for remote work, offering flexibility while maintaining a professional workspace. You will be utilizing telehealth technologies, such as secure video conferencing software and electronic health record systems, to provide therapy sessions, document client progress, and communicate effectively with team members. As part of a remote team, you will receive support from colleagues and supervisors through regular virtual meetings and check-ins.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health issues, effectively identifying and formulating clinical diagnoses based on clinical interviews and standardized assessment tools.

  • Create and maintain individualized treatment plans that reflect clients’ unique circumstances and evolve as their needs change, employing evidence-based therapeutic approaches like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or mindfulness techniques.

  • Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions that are engaging, therapeutic, and tailored to demonstrate positive outcomes, integrating feedback and adapting sessions as necessary.

  • Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute mental health crises, employing de-escalation techniques and liaising with emergency services when necessary to ensure client safety.

  • Document detailed notes and maintain accurate clinical records to comply with ethical, legal, and organizational standards, ensuring confidentiality and security for all client information.

  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to facilitate comprehensive and holistic treatment for clients, sharing pertinent observations and suggestions for modifying treatment approaches.

  • Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and strategies for coping, and provide advocacy to ensure they have access to necessary resources and support.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, training, and relevant trainings, actively incorporating innovative practices and theories into treatment methodologies.

In this role, you will serve a diverse client population, addressing a range of mental health concerns that include anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. You will provide culturally competent care that respects and acknowledges individual differences and life experiences, creating an inclusive environment where clients feel safe to explore their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

  • Valid and current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW) is required.

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with a proven ability to interpret complex mental health assessments.

  • A minimum of two years of professional experience in a clinical setting, providing therapeutic services to clients.

  • The capacity to work autonomously in a remote environment, as well as collaboratively as a member of our dynamic team.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Experience using electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary range for this position is USD 85,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience. We also offer a sign-on bonus to welcome new team members.
