We are looking for individuals who are interested in collaborating with the entire hospital team and desire to take an active role in shaping the internal medicine department and practice in a sustainable, engaging way.As an oncologist, you will utilize your unique expertise to diagnose and develop treatment plans for patients with cancer. Importantly, you will lead a compassionate dialogue with your clients about treatment options best suited for them and help guide them through stages of treatment. With our team-centered approach, continual collaboration with the Emergency, Critical Care, Surgery, Neurology, Internal Medicine and Cardiology departments is necessary to both provide and receive support. As such, you will also educate the ER (and other services as needed) with guidelines regarding best practices for the emergent case management of oncology patients.We cultivate departments based on the interest and expertise of the professionals on our team. You will see a combination of stable appointments and hospitalized transfers for which your training best equips you to optimize a patient's outcome.
