Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Tucson, Arizona.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: ASAP\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs\n Hours: 36 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Aug 31, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU Nights position requiring 2+ years of cardiac/ICU experience and an active AZ or compact RN license.Details\n \n Work in the Cardiovascular ICU of a hospital setting\n 15-bed unit with a 2:1 patient ratio\n Cares for cardiac and critical care patients including post-CABG, STEMI, and vascular cases\n Utilizes ventilators and vasoactive drips\n Uses Cerner EMR\n Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 3x12-hour shifts\n Requires 6 weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) within a 6-week schedule for a 13-week contract\n Float requirement to Medical ICU and Progressive Care Unit\n No on-call responsibilities\n Scrubs may be any solid color\n Requirements\n \n Active AZ or compact RN license required\n Current BLS and ACLS certifications required\n Minimum 2 years of recent cardiac/ICU experience required\n Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start\n No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months\n Experience with open heart, balloon pump, and CRRT preferred\n Additional Information\n \n Provide critical care nursing to cardiovascular ICU patients including post-CABG, STEMI, and vascular cases\n Candidates with open heart, balloon pump, and CRRT experience will be given priority consideration\n Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible\n Time off requests must be less than 1 week\n Not eligible for consideration if previously employed as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-742829.
