Accounting CoordinatorWe are looking for a skilled Accountant to be responsible for the preparation, computing, managing, researching and analyzing of company's accounting data. We expect you to provide detailed information on company's performance, liquidity, solvency, and cash flows as well as analyze its financial position and make conclusions about it.Responsibilities are:Performs accounts payable duties to include reviewing payments to vendors or employees, analyzing invoices/expense with correct accounts and cost centers, and recording entriesCollaborate with departments to streamline processes and resolve discrepancies by serving as a point of contact for accounting-related inquiriesReviews and ensures business transactions are properly accounted for and accurately reflect the company's accounting book (General Ledger)Maintain accounting systems and ensure data integrity. (SAP, E- Accounting)Oversee fixed asset records, depreciation schedules, and inventory tracking, while ensuring compliance with asset management policiesPrepares and analyzes accounting records or financial statements to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standardsReview accounts for discrepancies, reconcile differences, and prepare adjusting journal entriesMonitor accounts receivable, payments and any long-term outstanding items for internal control purposeProvide reports to management for decision-making with findingsConduct quarterly accounting audits and provide the required supporting data and documents to external auditors and GHQSupport the Corporate Management Team with special projects or tasks as requiredContinuously stay up to date on accounting standards and best practicesPerform other duties as assigned by managementRequirements are:Education:(Required) high school diploma or GED(Preferred) bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience(Preferred) bachelor's degree; accounting or business administration or economics majorExperience:(Preferred) previous relevant experience(Preferred) previous experience in the manufacturing industryLanguage:(Required) good command of written and spoken EnglishSkills & Knowledge:Administration and Management - Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resourcesEconomics and Accounting - Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial dataMathematics - Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applicationsClerical - Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminologyCritical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problemsReading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documentsActive Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate timesMonitoring - Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective actionPhysical Demands:Must be able to frequently move about the manufacturing plant campus, general office environments, production areas, and occasionally ascend/descend stairsMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the timeMust be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machineryMust be able to position self to file documents including the top and bottom drawers of file cabinetsMust be able to occasionally move office equipment and supplies weighing up to 25 poundsBenefits:401(k), 401(k) matchingHealth insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurancePaid Time OffPaid HolidaysHankook Tire is an equal opportunity employer.
