Clackamas County's Health Centers Division is looking for an experienced Dental Hygienist to join our Sunnyside Dental Clinic. As part of our integrated healthcare team, you'll play a vital role in improving oral health while collaborating with medical and behavioral health professionals to support whole-person wellness.
Our Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serves communities throughout Oregon City, Clackamas, Gladstone, and Sandy, providing compassionate, patient-centered care to those who need it most. Required Minimum Qualifications/Transferrable Skills:
- Current Oregon Dental Hygiene license in good standing and issued by the Oregon Board of Dentistry.
- Nitrous Oxide endorsement is required at the time of hire or within 6 months of hire.
- Current CPR/Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare workers certification.
Preferred Qualifications/Transferrable Skills:
- Experience working in a community health center or an FQHC setting.
- Working knowledge and experience using Epic Wisdom.
- Experience with Oregon Health Plan (OHP) billing requirements and covered services.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
- Must pass post-offer, pre-employment drug test.
- Must pass a criminal history check which may include national or state fingerprint records check.
- Driving is required for County business on a regular basis or to accomplish work. Incumbents must possess a valid driver's license, and possess and maintain an acceptable driving record throughout the course of employment.
