Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your pharmacy skills in a dynamic hospital inpatient setting. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate medication dispensing and providing expert pharmaceutical care to enhance patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify inpatient medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy
- Monitor patient medication regimens and provide consultations as needed
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and safety standards
- Utilize EPIC electronic health records to manage prescriptions and documentation
- Support inventory management and medication storage protocols
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Hawaii pharmacist license (required)
- Proven prior hospital inpatient pharmacy experience
- Proficiency with EPIC or similar electronic health record systems
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and hospital protocols
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a multidisciplinary environment

- Travel to Hawaii required for assignment
