Technical Writer

Job Description

We are looking for 3 technical writers to support our Semiconductor client. This person needs to have the ability to review 202 procedures where they will go into the fab and make sure engineers are performing them correctly. They will need to check if there are things that are right or not right about the procedures and edit the changes. They will work with the account team and product group and implement the procedures as valid documents.

This person will docut routine and ad-hoc audits of field service activities including installations, maintenance and troubleshooting execution. They will also review and validate service procedures to ensure they are accurate, executable and aligned with real world field conditions. They will perform on-site observations of field service engineers and ensure field processes align with defined quality control and operational standards. They will then document root cause analysis for identified gaps. From there they will provide clear, actionable summaries to field leadership and stakeholders.

Skills and Requirements

-Experience drafting, updating and writing new procedures

-Experience conducting routine and ad-hoc audits of field service activities - including installations, maintenance and troubleshooting execution

-Ability to identify gaps and compliance risks through structured audit methodologies / ability to ensure field teams comply with company policies, regulatory requirements and quality systems

-Ability to evaluate whether procedures are followed consistently across sites and engineers

-Experience documenting audit findings and lead root cause analysis for identified gaps

-Experience providing actionable summaries to leadership and stakeholders
